Betfair Customer’s Q&A
Payment Method
Betfair provides a range of payment methods for the convenience of its users. These include:
- Instant Bank Transfer: This is the most convenient and quickest method for both depositing and withdrawing funds.
- Debit Cards & Apple Pay: Users can add up to three debit cards onto their account. This rule does not apply to Apple Pay.
- Other Payment Methods: Only payment methods available in the user's country will be added to the 'Other Methods' tab. These include Cash (through a Paddy Power Shop), Paypal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Rapid Transfer, Much Better, and Bank Transfer.
All deposits are processed immediately and should appear on the account right away, except for Bank Transfers which can take 1-5 days. The minimum deposit amount is also included on the right-hand side of the Deposit Funds screen along with the processing time and any applicable fees. Betfair does not charge any fees.
To make a deposit, users can log in and visit the Deposit page, select the 'Popular' Tab for Instant Bank Transfers, Apple Pay/Card and 'Other Methods' for alternatives. If depositing by Card, users need to make sure they have already added this to their Betfair account. They can then select the payment method they wish to deposit from, add the amount they want to deposit in the 'amount' box, and select 'Pay' for Apple Pay and 'Deposit' for all other payment methods.
For withdrawals, any funds in the main wallet can be withdrawn by visiting the withdrawal section. Users can select their preferred payment method under the 'Popular' or 'Other Methods' tab. They can then add the amount they want to withdraw in the box that says 'amount' and click 'Withdraw'. If withdrawal is available, the Withdrawal button will show as Orange. Where it is not available, it will be grey. Whether the withdrawal is successful or not, the user will be advised at this point.

It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that they comply completely with their own local, national or state laws concerning betting, prior to opening an account with Betfair.
After registration, the account may need to be verified. Usually, electronic verification checks are used to ensure the user's identity. If additional proof of identity or address is needed, the user will be notified the next time they log in.

Betfair Return Policy?
At Betfair, once a bet has been confirmed, it cannot be changed, cancelled, or withdrawn under any circumstances. This is because the acceptance of the bet by Betfair concludes the bet.
For withdrawals, any funds in the main wallet can be withdrawn by visiting the withdrawal section. The user can select their preferred payment method under the 'Popular' or 'Other Methods' tab. Instant Bank Transfer, Debit Cards, and Apply Pay are under 'Popular', whereas e-wallets such as PayPal sit under 'Other Methods'. The user can then add the amount they want to withdraw in the box that says 'amount' and click 'Withdraw'. If withdrawal is available, the Withdrawal button will show as Orange. Where it is not available, it will be grey. Whether the withdrawal is successful or not, the user will be advised at this point.
In the case of horse racing, if a bet is placed on Future Racing, it will be settled as a losing bet. Bets placed on Non Runner Money Back markets will have their stakes returned once the non-runner is declared. If an accumulator has been placed, the line related to the non-runner will be void, and the stake for that line will not be returned.
Please note that this information is subject to change and it's always best to check the latest information on the Betfair website.
